Sarsaparilla Saloon Melodrama

It was another great Melodrama at the Historic Fox Theater. The Second Melodrama from Heart to Heart.  A hard working crew of volunteer actors put on a wonderful show Saturday night, November 14th.  "I've never seen talent quite like what I saw on the stage of the Fox Theater"....not sure who that quote came from, but I can't help but agree, I've never seen anything quite like that either.  It was a fun night and a good time to raise funds for the Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center.

Do you think you have what it takes to get on stage for Heart to Heart?  Karen will be looking for new actors next year.  Let her know if you are interested and I'm sure she will make sure there will be a role for you.
A Heart to Heart thanks for all those that helped this year:

Larry Barnhart, Rhonda Bibb, Sherri Buss-Rawlins, Shannon Catlin, Penny Dorado, Craig Douglass, Donna Fisher, Melissa Flavin, Chad Frey, Ken "Frenchie" Frey, Elmer Funk, Todd Hanchett, Mark Hardtarfer, Bart Kellum, David Kliewer, Tim Polley, Barry Powell, Don Reynolds, April Reynolds and Dana Shifflett.

Melodrama, A Great Time for All

The first Heart to Heart melodrama hit the stage on Saturday night, November 15th.  The Historic Fox Theater was nearly a sell out as community people arrived for a wonderful evening of entertainment.  Karen Walton produced her first, in what many hope will be many more, Melodrama entitled "Bulldog saves the day".  The audience participated by "booing and Hissing", by "clapping and aahhing" and by laughing their way through a stellar performance, even if some lines were missed.  Money raised from the event went for the children of Heart to Heart.
A silent auction of items contributed by local business's and individuals brought in additional money.  If you missed this one, do not let yourself miss the next one.
If you believe you might have what it takes to be an actor for Heart to Heart plays (and believe me, it doesn't take much) contact Karen and tell her of your interest.
