VFW 1610 S.E. 3rd, Newton
You are invited to one of Harold Logan's (in) famous luaus. Get ready to party on, but know this: Trouble is brewing for Mr. Logan. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to solve a murder (or two). We want you to be fully involved in the experience so please come in Hawaiian costume and in character, perhaps you are a world renowned hula dancer? It's optional of course but it will enhance your whole experience. Use you imagination and get ready to have fun!! Program starts at 6:30 PM, meet your primary suspects. Get into detective mode as you have a cocktail (cash bar), or not, and enjoy the appetizers. Be prepared, anything can happen at any time.
UPDATE
If you didn't make it to the VFW for this one, make sure to get there next year. The place was packed, the food was great and the acting was nothing short of spectacular. Best part of all, Heart to Heart raised the most amount of money it ever has in a single fund raiser. There have been many requests for another program, plans are in the works and a mystery is being sought.
Thank you everyone for being in the play, helping with the play and coming to the play.
Tricia Wells, owner of the Sports Grill & Bar, presents Karen Walton with cash raised during sales from promotional items during the New Year Eve celebration. Tricia has continued to support Heart to Heart over the years and has become a great friend of Heart to Heart.

The South Subway restaurant of Newton continues to support Heart to Heart Child advocacy Centers. Our heart felt thanks goes out to Bev Donker, manager of Subway on S. Main in Newton, District manager, Levi Julian and Owners Rottinghaus Inc. for allowing us to place donation boxes in the Subway restaurant.
It was the great down town Newton Chili Cook Off. The event was a fund raiser for the Harvey County United way. Non-Profits were asked to bring there best brew of chili and compete in the cook off. Heart to Heart was there. Jodie Beeson provided Heart to Heart with her special chili. Karen served it up and a load of folks stopped by to sample the goods. If you missed this event this year, then watch for it again next year. It was lots of fun and raised some money for the Harvey County United Way.

Heart to Heart Child Advocacy Center
Heart to Heart provides a safe, child friendly environment where the child victim is listened to, respected and can tell their experience to trained forensic professionals. Children and their non-offending family members are referred for counseling and prepared for the criminal justice process. The goal of Heart to Heart is to promote emotional healing so victims and non-offending family members can lead healthy and productive lives. The CAC does not charge for any interviews or any other services we provide. We are funded by grants, fund raising events and the kindness of individuals and the business community. Your donation can help ensure these services continue to be available to child victims. Heart to Heart works to help child victims of abuse become children again.
